You can delete your Clasow account and your data at any time. There are two ways, and you do not need the app installed to use the second one.
Your account and records are deleted and you are signed out immediately.
Email clasow.developer@gmail.com from the same email address you used to sign in, with the subject “Delete my Clasow account”.
We use the sending address to verify the request is yours, so please send it from the account you signed in with. We will confirm once the deletion is done, within 30 days and usually much sooner.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your name and email address | Deleted |
| Your account and user ID | Deleted |
| Your timetable and subjects | Deleted |
| Your attendance records and class history | Deleted |
| The daily summaries of how you responded to reminders | Deleted |
| The detailed reminder record kept on your phone | Deleted from the device when you sign out or uninstall. It is never uploaded. |
| Data | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Routine server and security logs that may contain a technical identifier | Security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults. Not used to identify you after deletion. | Up to 30 days, then removed on rotation |
| Shared college timetable data that was never personal to you — for example a department's published class schedule | It does not identify you and is not your personal data | Retained |
Backups are rotated on a schedule. A copy of deleted data may persist in an encrypted backup for a short period before it is overwritten. It is not restored to the live system.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your attendance history cannot be recovered afterwards. If you only want to stop using Clasow for a while, uninstalling the app is enough — your data stays and you can sign back in later.
If the in-app option fails, or you no longer have access to your original email address, write to clasow.developer@gmail.com and we will help you verify your identity another way.
